Feb 10, Katin rated it it was ok Shelves: This book would be great If I were into stocks.
The only reason I read this was because my boyfriend wanted me to. It was good, for the parts I understood. But for the most part, I just skimmed through the whole thing. As I said, it would have been amazing if it was of my interest. Sadly, it's not. However, I do like how it was structured. The paragraphs were small, and the "interviews" with the different people were interesting enough to read. If their advice could slightly be applicable to e This book would be great If their advice could slightly be applicable to everyday life, I took it.
IDK, it really wasn't a bad book. I was just not interested, at all. View 1 comment.

As another review states, if you've already read the other books there isn't much new here. Kind of like reading the cliff notes of a book after reading the book. If you're new to the MW franchise this is a good sampling and summary of the other books. In the weeks around the release of this book, Schwager was putting tons of quotes on his Twitter account from Market Wizards.
This book does that to an extent but each topic has 1 or 2 supporting excerpts from the larger books with more writing from Schwager.
I would've liked to see more supporting quotes from MWs and less from Schwager. Bottom line, it is a good book but if you've already read the MW series there isn't much new. Steve Burns. Jack Schwager has done a great job condensing the best of his four Market Wizard books into this one smaller work and staying true to the series.
While the larger books focus on the full interviews of the Market Wizards and share the best that they had to offer readers from those interviews this book distills the best of the best principles, examples, and advice into one quick and easy read. If you have read the other four books in the Market Wizard series with the full interviews there is very little new content here but it is an excellent quick review of those books and it is always good to study the concepts over and over to solidify what works in the trading world until you internalize it mentally.
